Cascia

Cascia is located in the southeastern part of Umbria, the most mountainous area of the region, near the Sibillini Mountains National Park. Set on the hill of Sant'Agostino, it is surrounded by magnificent heights that slope down to the Corno river, a tributary of the Nera.
Cascia is the birthplace of St. Rita and one of the main spiritual centers of Umbria, with pilgrims coming here from all over the world.
