Umbria Jazz, UJ, is one of the most important jazz events in the world.

Eurochocolate is the popular festival dedicated to chocolate, which transforms the city for 9 days in the great chocolate shop outdoors.

To celebrate spring challenge, to win the "Palio", the two parties in which the city is divided- the noble "Parte de Sopra" and the magnificent "Parte de Sotto"- through parades in medieval costume, performances and musical exhibitions. A jury composed of international experts proclaims the winner.

Each year, on May 15, the streets of Gubbio become colorfull, hundreds of people bring the three Ceri (over 3 quintal each) in an exciting race running from the city to the Basilica of St. Ubaldo, through the medieval streets and the hill for a drop of over 300 m.

Two weekends devoted to the prized black truffle and products typical of Valnerina.

The "Infiorate" are compositions made by flowers petals in the city streets of Spello. After some weeks of preparation, the compositions are finished by fresh flowers the night before the event. 

La Giostra della Quintana is a jousting tournament and a costumed historical event that takes place in Foligno, generally on the third Saturday on June (at night) and the revenge on the second Sunday of September.

The National Festival of Pasta is an exhibition dedicated to the pasta, dumplings, rice, soups, gluten free products from all over Italy. There are tasting, cooking classes, great chef demonstrations to celebrate the Pasta.

Wine celebrations throught Umbria region the last sunday in May.

Locally village festivals take place throughout the summer. Each village prepares its 10-day festival with entertainment and live music, but especially with so much good cooking and the tipical "torta al testo".
